This weekend, Ms. Powell's Economics Class placed second in the Chautauqua Assembly Student Museum Competition. The class' exhibit showcased the difference between board games and electronic games: half 1950s, half modern. They researched, assembled and presented the board game vs electronic game topic and thoroughly enjoyed it!
We thank all those who were generous enough to donate furniture and decorations to our presentation. We also want to thank those who voted for our exhibit throughout the weekend.

In honor of Celebrate Literacy Week, Walton High offered free books to students, waived fines, gave out bookmarks, and had a spotlight on Braves TV of the top 10 reasons to read.
