The East Panhandle Science and Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony, held on February 20, 2024, honored the hard work and dedication of the scientific minds and innovations of students in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.
Numerous Walton County students were honored for their EPIC adherence to and mastery of the scientific process. The Walton County School District is proud of the accomplishments of these students:

Zoe Orange, Cameron Estrada, Kailey Colton, and Zack Hirschinger were nominated to attend the Florida State Science Fair in Lakeland, FL April 2nd-4th.
In addition to representing Walton County in the Florida State Science Fair, Zoe Orange of Paxton School has been invited to attend the International Science Fair in Los Angeles, CA in May.
