Eighth grade Paxton School student Zoe Orange was recently awarded several awards at the East Panhandle Regional Science and Engineering Fair for her project "Omnipod Armor." For her project, Zoe 3D designed and printed a cover to provide protection to her Omnipod, an insulin delivery system, then tested the strength of her device. For her efforts, she won honorable mention in the junior engineering division and a certificate of recognition and commemorative coin from Reliance Test & Technology for an outstanding project. Congrats to Zoe for an excellent job using science and engineering to solve a real problem!
