ATTENTION EVERYONE! 🐔🦶
We just had to share the most hilarious and fantastic sight here at WDE today! Our awesome Principal, Darlene Paul and our incredible TSA, Assistant Principal, Hope Allen are celebrating all of our students' hard work and dedication during the recent State testing.
Everyone knows that Mrs. Paul does NOT like chickens and Mrs. Allen does NOT like feet. So they made a deal with students prior to state testing. If students worked hard and met their goals, they would dress up in the quirkiest outfits ever - a giant foot and a giant chicken costume!
Well, guess what? Students did it!!! So today was the day Mrs. Paul and Mrs. Allen followed through with their end of the deal! They started off at drop-off, welcomed students on the morning show, and then walked the halls visiting classrooms fully dressed in their costumes!
Their message was simple: to show you all just how proud they are of each and every student for putting in their best effort during testing. Our students' commitment and perseverance truly paid off, and our administration wanted to make sure it didn't go unnoticed!
