Career Technical Education (CTE) Program descriptions
Career technical education programs are developed in accordance with the State of Florida Department of Education Division of Adult and Career Education Curriculum Frameworks guidelines for student competency and skill attainment. Additional information regarding these frameworks and competencies are available.

Emerald Coast Technical College is the area leader in providing career and technical education for panhandle employers and beyond. 

All of our programs meet the rigorous requirements of the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Florida DOE. Our goal is to prepare you for high-skill, high-wage careers in the shortest time possible. There is also a schedule for academic courses should they be needed before entering your choice program. We also offer GED preparation.  

Short-Term Classes 
ECTC occasionally offers short-term continuing education classes with customized training for our local business and community members. Contact our Student Services Dean and ask how we can help your business or group offer customized training. Other training is offered when there is enough interest to have a full class.  

Each of our programs work with businesses and employers to ensure our programs are meeting the highest standards and our instructors are industry-trained and certified.
