After having played over 55 performances this school year, the Walton High School Band traveled to New Orleans this past weekend to perform again, as well as take in a culture rich in historical and musical significance!

The band performed for a crowd at the Jackson Square Amphitheater in the French Quarter. In addition to their performance the group took time visit the Nola Aquarium, Zoo, WWII Museum, Mardi Grad Factory, and also did historical tours around the city. they went on a cemetery tour, Ghost Tour, and a Jazz Riverboat Cruise to finish out their experience. Everyone from the Tour Guides to hotel staff complimented the students for being polite, respectful, and attentive during their visit to New Orleans!
